I'm Still here!

OK, it has been a while, but I am still here. I decided that I should update this after looking at my web stats and saw that despite the extremely slow speed at which adverts are being added I was getting a decent amount of regular visits still, all good things come to those who wait (or so they say). Regular blog updates I cannot promise, but the site will still be around for a good few years. Keep checking back and as the advertising grid starts filling up, click on those advertisers to make it all worthwhile.

Mmmm Not Quite As Expected :)

OK, I have to confess, not quite as expected! I was imagining everybody would want a slice of my stupidity :) still, feel free to add my banner to your website or blog, it may still take off yet; stranger things have happened and I am eternal optimist. I may have to wait a while for some of my dreams and aspirations to come true but I have around 400 domain names and I have an idea for every one, so time permitting one of them should take off.

What have I been doing these last few months, well moving into a repossession, so all my time has been taken decorating and DIYing! Still, nearly finished now. OK that's it for now, you still have to option to help fulfill my dreams and aspirations, buy my pixels or promote my site or donate cash, or all three. Speak to you soon - maybe?!?!

I Now Have A Banner

I have created a banner for advertising from other sites. If you would like to add a link to the Buy My Thoughts page from your Website or blog, then take a look at the FAQ page. I have added the site to a few forums, if you are members of any forums and you want to mention this site then please do :) I want as much exposure for it as possible.

Also I have added an entry in a ranking site for this to be ranked by the visitors the link is below.



Also put an entry at Adsense Dollar so I chall see what comes of that too.

Search And Submit

Spent way to much time in google searching for weird auction websites and pixel advertising site list etc so that I can submit my site. Think it is about time I haulted for the day. 21 hits so far on the ebay advert, haven't checked the site stats yet. I will give it a few days and see how it is going

Added Donations, And Going Live

OK, I have to stop tweaking and put the website on the Net! I have added a donations option to donate your money to me. In return for this you can win a week in the Top Donator pixel advert (3,600 pixels), dead centre of the homepage. I am about to do an eBay advert, so let's see how that goes, hopefully well. Still, we shall soon see.

I Had An Idea For Merchandising

I thought it would be great if I could sell t-shirts, caps, coats, mugs etc with the website logo on so I came up with a logo and opened a shop, look at the Merchandising option. The logo reads "If you want to get inside my head, Buy My Thoughts", see what you think.

Nearly Ready

I really hope that this works, because I have a load of ideas, but need some money to get them started. Also want to learn professional photography so if it is successful that would be great; so spread the word :). Whatever way, this has been a great learning experience for CSS (still learning) and I am going to do some other sites soon.

So, How Shall I Start?

I was thinking about getting started on the website when I read an article in .Net magazine about the Million dollar homepage. Upon reading the article I decided that I loved the idea of pixel advertising and visited the site to take a look. It reminded me of those posters you used to get that were a jumble of pictures and you had to look really carefully to see anything. Idecided I would add a pixel advertising page to mine.

I looked at several sites to see the kind of layout that worked best and decided how mine needed to be done. I decided to also use it as a learning curve for JavaScript and CSS neither of which I have looked at before.

Why Sell My Thoughts

Lying in bed last night at around 3am unable to sleep I had thoughts rushing around my head, "I must pay off these credit cards?", "I am sure I will sleep in a minute!", "how can I make some money?", "Is that the cat?". It was then that it came to me, if I could get rid of some of these thoughts then maybe I would be able to get a good nights sleep. If I could sell them I would get some money too.

Ideas, I am never short of them, I have them spinning around my head all the time, Grab a Pig being one of them (more on that later). In the dark of night, my mind starved of the sleep I needed, I thought this may just work, right after that the Pixie appeared (OK so I made that last bit up).
